This is the first part of a list I compiled of Waterbury's Civil War Soldiers

I used the list from the dedication of the Waterbury Soldiers Monument and cross referenced it with "A Catalogue of CT Volunteers in the War for the Union" a publication of the state of Connecticut available in the genealogy room of the Silas Bronson library. The total number of soldiers from Waterbury was 900, the number of sailors is less clear.
